Mike and I knew after our first date in June of 1993 that we were exactly who God had placed together. After dating for only 5 months we were engaged and then married on July 23, 1994. We moved to Texas from Aug. of ’94 – Jan. ’95. In January we returned to Knoxville where Mike began his work in ministry. Dyllan Michael Wilson was born April 1, 1996 and we didn’t think life could get any better. Then on Oct. 4, 1997 we had Lane Bryson Wilson. His story has helped shape and change our lives in so many different ways. You can check out http://www.myLIFEspeaks.com for the whole story. Mike and I thought that this would be our family. God had blessed us beyond anything we had ever imagined until……..July 17, 2000 we had our third son Eli Warren Wilson. Also in Aug. 2004 we were blessed to have Katie Erie come and live with our family. God allowed Katie to be part of the Wilson household and still remain close to her biological family as well. What some may view as an odd situation we view as a complete gift from GOD!
Over the last 15 years God has grown us in so many ways. Some of our experiences have been tough and some have been nothing but FUN! Regardless to the experience we have always found God to be faithful to meet our every need! As we begin this adoption process from Haiti we KNOW that God will continue to be faithful and teach us more about Him every step of the way!
